Chelsea Lyons


I started CrossFit as a way to rehabilitate a broken ankle that I sustained while playing professional basketball in the FIBA EuroLeague. What was originally planned to be a summer rehabilitation program turned into a growing passion and new obsession. Needless to say, I never went back to Europe, and I’ve never looked back. Breaking my leg was easily one of the best things thats ever happened to me, as it lead me to my new love, CrossFit.

I CrossFit because… I love it. No fancy reasoning, no paragraph description needed. You find what makes you happy, and you do it with passion… That is what life is all about.

I coach because… I feel the need to share my love and excitement with anyone willing to listen. I have a lot of knowledge to share, and I like feeling that I may have made an impact in another person’s life. I value knowing that I helped someone achieve something that they once felt impossible.
