Paul Begich


I was first introduced to CrossFit during a summer internship while attending the University of Minnesota. The local trainer at the VERY small health works facility noticed my enthusiasm for fitness and one day approached me asking if I’d heard of CrossFit. I hadn’t. He ran me through a short workout that included air squats, pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups. I died. But it was eye opening. Up until that point I had thought of myself as a fit individual. Shortly thereafter I was absolutely immersed by CrossFit. After summer break came to a close the first thing I did when I got back to campus was look up the closest CrossFit gym. I was fortunate enough to find CrossFit Minneapolis. I attended the intro workout and the rest is history…

I CrossFit because… it just makes sense; the CrossFit methodology, the movements, the scientific approach to tracking workouts. I truly believe that CrossFit’s holistic approach to health and wellness is far superior to any other program out there.

I coach because… I love it! Having the opportunity to change the lives of so many individuals on their journey to improving their health is truly inspiring.
