This is the primary class offering and is available to all members once they have completed the Level One class. Each hour-long class includes a dynamic warm-up, movement review and preparation, and the workout of the day (WOD). All skill levels are welcome and all skill levels will be challenged.
Level One Classes are for athletes new to CrossFit and exist so athletes can learn proper form and mechanics. New athletes spend their first month in Level One before graduating to CrossFit Class.
CrossFit Kids is designed to teach kids that fitness and healthy living is fun. Lead by certified CrossFit Kids coaches, these classes are perfect for promoting play and activity for children ages 4-12.
CrossFit Teens Classes introduces teens to CrossFit and helps to expand their physical ability. Whether it kickstarts a fitness journey or enhances a sports performance, teens in CrossFit will gain strength, conditioning, coordination, speed, power, and more.
Saturday Mash-Up are intense CrossFit workouts honoring fallen heroes who fought for our freedom. These workouts take place Saturday at 8am at CrossFit Minneapolis. They generally involve higher volume training than everyday CrossFit classes. All members are welcome and workouts can be modified to match any skill level.
We offer ongoing mobility programming plus free yoga events once a month open to all skill levels and experience. Drop in on our yoga classes to restore and refresh the mind and body and ward off muscle tension and stress from training or daily life. Improved mobility can help strengthen lifts and prevent injury in CrossFit. Unlimited CrossFit Minneapolis + St. Paul Members may also take full advantage of Alchemy, a local yoga and training facility.
Olympic Weightlifting Classes are designed to develop the skills and mechanics for snatch and clean and jerk lifts. Squatting, pressing, and pulling exercises with the barbell are also incorporated. Olympic Weightlifting Classes are offered three times per week at CrossFit Minneapolis.
Unlimited CrossFit Minneapolis + St. Paul Members have the opportunity to diversify their training by gaining access to Alchemy, a local yoga and training facility. Alchemy group fitness classes incorporate elements of yoga, strength training, and conditioning to offer a unique and balanced fitness experience.
Mobility Classes are designed to improve an athlete’s active range of motion to develop better positioning in CrossFit movements. Mobility Classes are offered on Saturdays at CrossFit Minneapolis.
An hour-long class dedicated to getting stronger! Each class includes 1-3 slow lifts (squatting, pressing, pulling), a few fast lifts or complexes (olympic lifts), and assistance exercises. There is occasionally a short conditioning element but the classes is usually just lifting.
Some may think yoga and CrossFit are at odds. Not us. Drop in on our yoga classes to restore and refresh mind and body and to make sure you’re warding of any build-up of muscle tension and/or stress from training or daily life. In addition to Union Fitness yoga classes, Union Fitness unlimited(+) members may take full advantage of local yoga and training facility Alchemy, located in the heart of the North Loop in Downtown Minneapolis, with full access to Alchemy’s full schedule including their A10/A20 class! This class is open to all levels regardless of experience.
This is our core class offering, open to all members once they have completed our On-Ramp classes. Each hour-long class is a structured event that includes a dynamic warm-up, movement prep and review of complex movements, and workout of the day (WOD). All skill levels are welcome in this class and all skill levels will be challenged. Members who have completed On-Ramp can attend any CrossFit Class at any time, no registration required.
Looking for a fun way to introduce your children to fitness? CrossFit Kids is the place to be. Lead by certified CrossFit Kids instructors, CrossFit Kids is designed to teach kids that fitness and healthy living is fun. In the day and age of video games and rampant childhood obesity, CrossFit Kids is perfect for promoting play and activity for children between the ages of 4 and 12 (the groups are broken up by age ranges 4-7 and 8-12). Pay by the class for CrossFit Kids, absolutely no commitment! All CrossFit Kids classes are free for unlimited members.
Interested in competing on the sport-side of CrossFit? The Union competition program provides the resources necessary for athletes with competitive aspirations to achieve their goals through a robust training program that can be customized to an individual’s needs. This class is reserved for upper-level CrossFitters with at least one year of CrossFit experience.
Bootcamp is for people looking for fast results without including heavy barbell movements in their training. Workouts are short, intense, and can be adjusted to any individual’s physical abilities.
Utilize modern physical therapy practices to mobilize joints and improve range of motion in preparation for athletic movement. Open to all members of the gym.
There’s no better way to develop your mechanics than to regularly attend our Oly class. Dedicated solely to improving the snatch and the clean and jerk, Oly classes are hour-long sessions designed to isolate common movement faults and then train them away. Oly class participants receive constant feedback from professional coaches who really understand the sport’s many nuances. This class is open to all levels regardless of experience.
