Partner Open Workout Saturday’s – 01272018

The Open is one month away! In preparation we’ll be hitting some Open workouts with a partner twist over the course of the next month.

Handstand Walk Practice

After our general warm up we’ll take ten minutes working on getting better and progressing in the handstand walk. Could this be the first year handstand walking comes up in the Open… who knows!

Clean: 3 – 3 – 3 – 3 – 3

That’s five working sets of a weightlifting clean triple. Athletes will reset between repetitions and build over the course of twenty plus minutes. That being said, be sure to get in five quality working sets.

Burpees Over the Dumbbell

The above workout is to be completed in a “you go, I go” fashion. Meaning each athlete will complete five total rounds of the above which equates to ninety snatches and ninety burpees. Each effort is intended to be an all out sprint with each effort taking between one minute to ninety seconds.
