Partner Workout Saturday’s – 01062018
3 Front Squats
Work up to a heavy front squat triple for the day. Surprise yourself, who know’s you might hit your previous one rep max for three!
For time (w/ a partner):
1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3… 10, 10 reps of:
Curtis P’s (115/83)
5 Synchronized Bar Facing Burpees
300 Double Unders
The format of the above workout is as follows: athlete one performs one Curtis P, then athlete two performs one Curtis P, then both athletes perform five synchronized bar facing burpees. athlete one then performs two Curtis P’s, then athlete two performs two Curtis P’s, then both athletes perform five synchronized bar facing burpees. Athletes will continue in this fashion until both have completed ten Curtis P’s and finishing with five bar facing burpees. Once this has been completed athletes will share the work in completing three hundred double unders.
I’ve got a small number of workouts in my programming arsenal that are staples. This workout is a spin on one of my staples. It’s brutal, elegant, and a total killer. Not for the faint of heart but for anyone looking to get totally wrecked.
