1 RM Power Clean
Take twenty minutes and work up to a heavy power clean. Be sure to hit at least four or five “working” sets.
AMReps thirty minutes (w/ a partner)*:
30 Power Clean and Jerks (135/93)
30 Power Clean and Jerks (185/133)
30 Squat Clean and Jerks (225/163)
Max Synchronized Bar Facing Burpees
*Every Three Minutes Complete a 200m Run (workout starts with a run)
I’ve programmed a lot of workouts in my day and I’ve got a sense for where and how I want this workout to go… but if I’m being totally honest this workout could be totally crazy and athletes will have no shot at getting to the burpees OR athletes will do like a million burpees. That being said, lets set some rules:
- Athletes need to choose loadings they can cycle at the lighter loads.
- If partners haven’t completed the clean and jerks after the tenth run (last round) they will still transition to the synchronized bar facing burpees to close out the workout.
- If partners complete 75 synchronized bar facing burpees the workout is over.
