#UnionComp – The Granite Games Cycle – MONDAY (07/17/2017)

Snatch: 1 – 1 – 1 – 1 – 1

You’ll notice that as of late our Olympic Weightlifting work has progressed to a lower amount of volume and greater loads. Being that we’re just over the halfway point in our Granite Games Cycle use today as a “check in” for the snatch. The intent is to both go really heavy but also get in a number of quality working singles.

10 Dumbbell Snatches (AHAP)

10m Overhead Dumbbell Walking Lunges – Right Arm (AHAP)

10 Dumbbell Snatches (AHAP)

10m Overhead Dumbbell Walking Lunges – Left Arm (AHAP)

Choose an appropriately challenging load for the dumbbell. Given the relative simplicity of the above two dumbbell movements the intent is that the dumbbell is heavy.
