Handstand Walk Practice (twenty minutes)

Don’t yet have handstand walks? Work for a good deal of time today in getting closer to walking on your hands. Have handstand walks? Work today on absolutely virtuous walking. Are your legs completely straight and totally tied together? That’s virtuous movement.

“Santora”

U.S. Army Sergeant Jason A. Santora, of Farmingville, New York, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based out of Fort Benning, Georgia, died in Logar province, Afghanistan on April 23, 2010, from wounds sustained during a firefight with insurgents. He is survived by his parents Gary and Theresa, and sister Gina.

Three rounds for total repetitions*:

1:00 of Cleans (155/103)

1:00 of 20′ Shuttle Sprints (20 feet forward plus 20 feet backward = one repetition)

1:00 of Deadlifts (245/173)

1:00 of Burpees

1:00 of Jerks (155/103)

*Rest One Minute Between Rounds.

If you’re considered about coming in today because the amount of volume today in the burpee given yesterday’s burpees and horizontal pressing then scale the burpees today with one minute of rowing. Given the expected large class size today have athletes partner up and one athlete will start at one point and the other athlete will start at another point, this way two athletes can work on two bars as opposed to one athlete needing two bars.
