Low bar back squat 5×3, then:

In pairs, partner A rows 250m while partner B performs as many manmakers as possible in that time.  Once the row is complete, partner B rows 250m while partner A performs manmakers.  This continues until the pair has completed 40 manmakers total.  Manmakers can only be performed when one of the two partners is rowing.  Prescribed load for manmakers is 30#/20#.

Interested in improving your olympic lifts?  We’re excited to have Jake Rubash, a CrossFit and olympic weightlifting coach from Georgia visiting for the month of May, and he’s going to host olympic lifting skill sessions at 7pm on Wednesdays for the next few weeks.  This will be an “open gym” format where Jake will provide coaching tips to help you improve your snatch, clean, and jerk.  Jake is an accomplished weightlifter who has a snatch PR of 101kg and a clean & jerk PR of 120 kg at a weight of 75kg.  This is a great opportunity to work on these complex lifts without the time constraints of the regular WOD classes.
